A Demon Lord, chained and entombed
In Demon's Gate beneath the ground
A Kovacs prison, forged fast and true
By Angel's Fury locked and bound
Three brothers of the Kovaks Order
Their lives they gave to power and helm
The Angel's Fury - three lives, three parts
As one, in eternity, to protect the Realm
Kronos, the wise, sees out from the Eye
Kardreth, the clever, weaves an Intricate Web
Kastril, the brave, powers Yegmir's Arm
Heroes all, their souls forever committed
Fifteen hundred years it prevailed
Both magic and might attempts resisted
The Fury of Angel's protecting the bonds
For five centuries it powers unassisted
Koltash the Wise proclaimed to the Order
Lest the Key in the wrong hands should fall
Angel's Fury be split, its three parts scattered
Its purpose and existence denied to all
One to the Scaled-ones, Dragon descendants
One to the Gnomes, innocence their defence
One to The Five, friends on their Isle
And the Temple of Kovacs maintains the pretence
The additional page that was found contains the following:
The Gate's limitation must not be forgotten
Each five centuries it must be recharged
The Key returned to the Gate to relock
Else the lock will decay and discharge
The World can forget, so the Friends on the Isle
Brought forth Wild Magic, random but strong
If the lock is decaying, the Key long forgotten
Realm's Magic will act, try to right the wrong
It gathers the Heroes, unbeknownst to themselves
Innocents from all races, far and wide
The hope that their gathering will prevent the chaos
That releasing the captive will provide
The risk will be high, their innocence tested
The choices they make are their own
If the World has forgotten, it's hoped they will learn
To do, what must be done, alone
