9th September 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: UNKNOWN. End of session: 1490 Mirtul 21 Our "Heroes" ponder their next move. Faced with an unknown threat below, a patrol which continues on, and an escaped creature who could be warning all and sundry, along with already diminished resources of spells, potions etc, Derrick thinks the best option is to run down all weapons swinging and kill everything they see. Luckily the others dissuaded him from this plan. They consider their available abilities. They discuss. They plan. They think through consequences and options. Is this the same group of "Heroes" we know and love? Apparently so. The first thing they want is to get a better idea of what is below. Derrick summons Pacino and he flies down the hole to scout out, with Derrick seeing what Pacino sees. Sensing danger, they rethink the plan and try again but this time with Pacino invisible. Below there seems to be a short corridor that opens out into a large room....

24th August 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: UNKNOWN. End of session: UNKNOWN (in the Shadowfell) Our "Heroes" stake out the grimy, desolate keep known as The Rotted Heart. They plan carefully. In a departure from their usual method, they then actually execute the plan. At least to a point. And ideas come thick and fast - primarily from Derrick, though Jaxii often, justifiably, used the phrase "That's literally exactly what I just said!" whenever Derrick came up with a good plan. After checking that the door does not open easily, they once again back away from the structure. Iwee goes invisible again and waits by the door after seeing the patrol go in. As soon as they come out again, before the door closes, she carefully and quietly places the immovable rod in the door to stop it fully closing. 12th August 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1490DR Mirtul 20. End of session: UNKNOWN (in the Shadowfell) Our "Heroes" awake from a fitful night and hate the Shadowfell even more than they did before. They are keen to make a start on their next quest to recover the Conspirator's Visage. They start by trying to find out more information from the Shadar-Kai who are tasked with helping them to the border of the Raven Queen's realm. They gain a bit more info about the Rotted Heart and how to get there. After some discussion, they head off and a portal appears to transport them to the boundary. Before crossing the border, Iwee manages to persuade the Shadar-Kai to provide one of the ravens making up the portal to guide them for the first half of the journey, though they would have to leave them after half a day, as going too far into Vecna's realm would be dangerous. 20th July 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1490DR Mirtul 20. End of session: UNKNOWN (in the Shadowfell) Our "Heroes" wander in this strange city. It is dark, miserable and confusing. They try to head towards the tower which they catch glimpses of through the continuous mist but often find themselves ending up in the wrong direction, sometimes further away than when they started. They need a plan. Unfortunately, planning is not their strong point. But they try anyway. Talking to the strange, cowled creatures standing on many of the street corners and junctions seems not only pointless, as they do not seem to help, or even respond, in any meaningful way, but also somewhat creepy, as their weird clicking is very disconcerting, especially to Iwee, who is more used to gaiety and chatter.  They decide to initially follow Jaxii and aid her in trying to track a way to the Court of Empty Desires using her survival skill, for the first hour.   11th July 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1490DR Mirtul 19. End of session: 1490DR Mirtul 20 Our "Heroes" are resolute, after much debate and a nice breakfast, to head to the Shadowfell in search of Pristis. They manage to persuade Gemrik, who was keen to join them in regaining his son, to stay behind in case Pristis is returned by the Raven Queen. They head back to Hullack forest, heading for the portal, which was quite easy to find - it is well known thereabouts, though usually avoided. Stepping through they find themselves in a miserable place. Dark and foreboding, all sense of hope dispelled. Croydon. No - not that bad - but close. All colour drained from their surroundings, and the entire place covered in a mist that seems to drag out any positivity that our Heroes cling to. Even Iwee's humming cannot lift the mood as they head towards the nearby town, or city, that they see in the distance. Arriving at the gate they hear a commotion from the gatehouse. Wa...

  27th June 2025 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1490DR Mirtul 17. End of session: 1490DR Mirtul 19 Our "Heroes" reconsider the wisdom of camping just outside a cave system, close to an enemy camp - an enemy who is quite likely to shortly discover they had recently exited said cave system, with a sought-after treasure. They decide to press on through the night instead to find a safer place to camp. Before resting in the early hours of the morning,  Iwee messages Yakaryn, the dragonborn who had gone in search of Pristis, and receives a worrying reply, saying that Pristis was not there, and asking for them to hurry to help. Thinking that Pristis was perhaps held captive in the enemy camp, they send Pacino back to the valley to fly around, and into, the camp to search for any sign of Pristis. Pacino II does not return. Ever. At this news, and in response to Yakaryn's desperate plea for help, our "Heroes" rest for the night in an impenetrable tent near to a cros...
