End of session: 1489DR  Nightal 2 Our "Heroes" are cautiously recovering from a tough battle with some sneaky, quick and cunning fey creatures. Jaxii is very exhausted. The patch of darkness that caused them so many problems slowly disappears, but none of the creatures that the party think are still around seem to be visible. Hence, the caution that the our "Heroes" are, for once perhaps, displaying. They approach the unmoving body of who they assume to be the dryad, Calista, which is lying at the bottom of a large, old oak tree. Derrick can see a thin, silver rope, loosely tied around the leg of the body and wrapped around the tree. Derrick approaches the auburn-haired dryad and is able to discern that she is sleeping, or unconscious, but luckily not dead. Jaxii tries to encourage Derrick to lick her foot. Not sure why. 13th May 2022 - 19:45 - 11:30 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1489DR "The Feast of the Moon". End of session: 1489DR "The Feast of the Moon" Our "Heroes"  awake to a hearty breakfast in Moonfall - Karoshi rates it as "acceptable", which is a little harsh given the entire town is upset and distracted by their missing children. Iwee apologises to her parents for her teenage strop the previous evening. They are understanding and explain that they are only worried for her safety, given that they have only just been reunited. They also question Karoshi's motives towards Iwee/Lily, given that he arrived on the scene just after she had been attacked by a noble. Iwee convinces them that the Tiefling is trustworthy and honourable. They head out towards the King's Wood with the intent to find The Hunter in order to get directions to the ruins of An-Sen in the marshes. 29th Apr 2022 - 20:00 - 11:30 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1489DR Uktar 30. End of session: 1489DR "The Feast of the Moon" Our "Heroes"  stand amidst some giant snakes, now dead. Derrick struts around, telling everyone who will listen (which happens to be no one other than himself) of his deeds of derring-do and how he killed three snakes in one go all on his own (stretching the truth a little, but that's not unusual for him!). They are a little nervous about staying near to the swamp, but don’t want to risk getting lost or becoming delayed by heading away from the swamp, so they continue towards the Tangleweed Grove by skirting the edge of the swamp, weapons drawn and looking out for more swamp creatures, especially watching for the fabled rot grubs. Derrick sends Owl Pacino out in front to look out for potential hazards or enemies. After another hour or so of travelling, Jaxii spots a large tree in the distance, through the mists.
