15th Apr 2022 - 20:00 - 11:30 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1489DR Uktar 29. End of session: 1489DR Uktar 30 Our "Heroes" have discovered a secret door within the Moonfall Cavern. They cautiously make their way into the short tunnel which opens into another large cavern. Iwee calls ahead, not wanting to surprise, or be surprised by anything within the other cavern. There is obviously something in there - a confused voice calls out from beyond. After some hesitant communication on both sides, it is apparent that the second cavern contains all the remaining adults from Moonfall - they are loosely chained up but it turns out this is for their own, and others', safety. There is a leader, or spokesperson, who introduces himself as Eldred Greylock, the village Elder. The party explain that the people in the next cavern seem to have been murdered, and something bad has happened back in the village. 8th Apr 2022 - 20:00 - 11:30 In-game timeline: Start of session: 1489DR Uktar 29. End of session: 1489DR Uktar 29 Our "Heroes" leave the young half-elf Suriel with the teenage gnome, Lispeth, and they head out of the village towards where the cavern is reputed to be. After an hour or so of travelling they reach a split in the path. Karoshi checks for tracks on the ground and discerns that there are lots of humanoid footprints on the left hand path, whilst the right hand path seemed to contain fewer, and more beast-like prints. So they head right, heeding the directions provided by Lispeth. Another 30 minutes or so travelling leads them to a cave entrance. They carefully approach but see no obvious forms of life at the entrance, other than a strong smell. Karoshi heads inside, whilst the other wait near the entrance. Karoshi is attacked! End of session: 1489DR Uktar 29 Our "Heroes" are travelling from Neverwinter to Baldur's Gate aboard the Raven's Nest ship and spending some quality time relaxing and studying - or throwing up in the case of Derrick. Iwee is a little concerned about some of the visions she has experienced while meditating, and encourages the others to share their thoughts and feelings a little. Arriving in Baldur's Gate, the group stock up on some healing potions, and then decide to visit the local arcane school, hoping to find someone who could help recover Iwee's memories. The half-elf behind the reception is a little cold towards them, which seems to wind up Derrick to an unnecessary level. Whilst Iwee politely asks if anyone would be able to help her, Derrick becomes somewhat abusive and aggressive. He gets the group thrown out. Iwee is not angry with Derrick, just disappointed.
