Aboleth Group – session 2 summary 24 th April 2019, 7:30 – 11:00pm In-game timeline: Start of session, day 2. End of session, day 2. The party stand at the entrance of the cave, discussing the best way to explore the cave system, which they know contains “many” goblins, some wolves and at least one bugbear, Klarg. Fed up with the discussion, the unstealthy, fully armoured human-without-any-darkvision Derrick “Leeroy Jenkins” Trebuchet decides to wander up to the stone steps and see what is in the cave off to the right. Realising that he would not be able to see anything once he gets out of daylight, Esme decides to cast light. Not on a stick, or torch, or even Derrick’s weapon, but on Derrick himself. Mallorn completed Derrick’s ensemble by casting prestidigitation and caused an odd odour to emanate from Derrick. Aboleth Group – session 1 summary 17 th April 2019, 7:30 – 11:30pm In-game timeline: Start of session, day 0. End of session, day 2. Esme, Pruni, Derrick and Mallorn met each other in the back of the Neverwinter Tavern, also being introduced to Gundren Rockseeker (“Rockseekers!”), their employer for this simple escort mission, and a middle-aged, well-spoken gent who introduced himself as Sildar Hallwinter. He looked to be quite handy with the longsword that he carried. At least, he probably was in his day, before he took an arrow to the knee. Everyone has their own reasons to go to the small town of Phandalin, some 2-3 days travel away, and Gundren has offered to pay the group to escort him and his wagonload of goods to the town. After a chat, which turned more into an interrogation, with Esme, everyone retired for the night, and gathered again the following morning for breakfast. We have: Derrick 'Ego' Trebuchet, a human fighter, noble of birth and very fond of his great axe, which he wields with great prowess. Esme Panklepot, a dwarf who turned her back on the soldiering lifestyle to become a devotee of Life in the church of Marthammor Duin. Mallorn Elmsong, an elvish wizard of growing power. Pruni Sackville, halfling rogue, as mysterious as she is small. Follow their adventures as we start, as all good adventures do, in a tavern, in the town of Neverwinter in the Forgotten Realms....
